Arizona Senator John McCain will be traveling through several key states in the next two months to support his fellow Republicans for the mid-term elections in fall. I have posted additional information in the wiki. I just wonder what McCain’s true motivations are. He has been focusing more on traveling to other states than working in Washington, so I wonder why he would go out of his way just to show his support for Republicans if he wasn’t trying to gain support for a presidential nomination from his party. Whether it’s to support other Republicans or to gain support for himself, he is on the right track to securing support for a presidential nominee. Not only that, but he has a great chance of winning the 2008 presidential election. I believe it was MSN (I’ll look it up) who published a poll that showed McCain would win in the 2008 election if he was running against the Democrats’ best potential nominee, Hilary Clinton. As much as I’d like to see a woman as president, I think John McCain would be one of the greatest presidents our country has seen in a long time.
