After defending Obama’s lack of experience the far left is attacking a VP candidate on her lack of experience.

Palin has made a name of herself through accomplishments.

Obama has made a name for himself by running for president.

It’s absurd and stupid and I think the tables have been turned. The last remaining “argument” is that McCain == Bush. “Anybody but Bush” has yet to win an election. It has been tried and failed twice now.

Looking around various right wing blogs the initial reaction appears to be very positive. Some are wishing they could see Hillary’s reaction. Many are excited about donating money to the campaign.

The only naysayers seem to be the ones focusing on her experience. She has less experience in terms of time compared to Obama. She has far more executive experience than Obama who has none.

The other difference is that Obama has no accomplishments to speak of. Alaska is littered with the bodies of corrupt officials that were fired after Palin came into office. Many of them from her own party.

Obama talks about changing politics. Palin has walked the walked in less time than Obama has had to do it.

U.S. Senator John McCain today announced that he has selected Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to be his running mate and to serve as his vice president.

Governor Palin is a tough executive who has demonstrated during her time in office that she is ready to be president. She has brought Republicans and Democrats together within her Administration and has a record of delivering on the change and reform that we need in Washington.

Governor Palin has challenged the influence of the big oil companies while fighting for the development of new energy resources. She leads a state that matters to every one of us – Alaska has significant energy resources and she has been a leader in the fight to make America energy independent.

In Alaska, Governor Palin challenged a corrupt system and passed a landmark ethics reform bill. She has actually used her veto and cut budgetary spending. She put a stop to the “bridge to nowhere” that would have cost taxpayers $400 million dollars.

As the head of Alaska’s National Guard and as the mother of a soldier herself, Governor Palin understands what it takes to lead our nation and she understands the importance of supporting our troops.

Governor Palin has the record of reform and bipartisanship that others can only speak of. Her experience in shaking up the status quo is exactly what is needed in Washington today.

Fox News confirms

DAYTON, Ohio — John McCain will introduce Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his vice presidential running mate at an event here at noon Friday, senior campaign sources confirmed to FOX News.

Some parties don’t have glass ceilings. Sarah Palin has strong conservative values and enough of a record to demonstrate them.

The National Review is reporting

The experience was surreal, amusing, and chilling. In a matter of hours, a major national campaign had called on its legions to bully a radio show out of airing an interview with a legitimate scholar asking legitimate political questions. Coupled with the Obama campaign’s recent attempts to sic the DOJ on the creators of a truthful political advertisement —which also happened to feature Obama’s relationship with an unrepentant terrorist— last night’s call to action represents an emerging pattern. Any criticism of Obama’s unknown past is to be immediately denounced as a “smear,” and the messenger is to be shut down at all costs.

This happens in cults all the time. The cult has an “official” story and anyone who questions it is attacked. Some cults are worse than others. Obama’s cult seems to be worse than others seeing as he is pursuing legal means to silence people.

I wonder if anyone will go after Obama for filing false reports.

Why does Obama hate our freedom?

As soon as it was official the bumper stickers went out. Obama supporters have historically whined hysterically whenever Obama’s middle name was used.

But let’s look at some facts:

Osama Bin Laden’s followers have strapped suicide bombs to babies. Obama supports leaving infants to die in a hospital after failed abortions.

So both of them support the murder of infants.

Saddam Hussein would kill anyone who spoke out against him.

Obama Hussein is waging a war of intimidation against those that dare to point out that he’s a friend of an unrepentant domestic terrorist.

So both of them support the silencing of critics by way of force.

So if Obama doesn’t like the plays that people make on his name then maybe he needs to stop being a jerk.

Leftist idiots like Green Day sing stupid songs about how the Bush administration is trying to silence critics (an obviously self defeating argument) but not a word of complaint when Obama overtly does it.

I guess the left doesn’t care about the first amendment for others as long as they get to enjoy it.

According to Wikipedia:

Biden will be 66 in November. John McCain will be 72 on Friday. Biden first got into office in 1973. John McCain got in 14 years later.

So while Obama goes on about “change” and not being “corrupted by Washington” he picked a running mate who is the exact opposite of that message.

The Daily Gallup poll now puts Obama in a dead heat. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton supporters would have conceeded a VP slot and threw their support in for Obama had he chosen her. Obama is playing chicken with a large angry voting bloc hoping that they’ll come around by November.

Good luck with that. We’re talking about women here.

The media was expecting a text message all today letting them know who Obama picked for VP. The reason they were waiting is because the news cycle ends today and Obama had said he would announce his pick the week before the convention.

So now it has been relegated to weekend news with the announcment now comming “after” 10am eastern time on Saturday. Which could mean anything. His speech is at 3pm eastern so that gives the news all of 5 hours to give a care about his VP pick if they’re even paying attention.

All the major news hosts are on during the week. And maybe that’s what Obama is trying to avoid. He wanted to keep the media talking about it all day today and then hit everyone with a let down the next day when the talking heads won’t be on to tear his selection apart.

Or maybe he’s so full of himself he thinks he’ll get all the media attention today and all the media attention tomorrow, too. If he had announced today, tomorrow wouldn’t be much of anything newsworthy. So he had to bluff his way into the Friday news and now he has to hope the media doesn’t resent him tomorrow.

Good luck with that.

Obama was the only one who spoke against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act.

This is what he said:

As I understand it, this puts the burden on the attending physician who has determined, since they were performing this procedure, that, in fact, this is a nonviable fetus; that if that fetus, or child - however way you want to describe it - is now outside the mother’s womb and the doctor continues to think that it’s nonviable but there’s, let’s say, movement or some indication that, in fact, they’re not just coming out limp and dead, that, in fact, they would then have to call a second physician to monitor and check off and make sure that this is not a live child that could be saved.

His complaint is that the bill wanted a second opinion on whether or not the baby was a alive or could be saved. Obama just wanted to trust the abortion doctor to make the call.

What an idiot.
