Barack Obama Associates is a web site that highlights the various questionable relationships between Obama and some rather radical people. While the idea of the web site is good the execution as abysmal. It appears to have been created in Microsoft Word, only works in Internet Explorer and is lacking in overall presentation. I’ve copied much of the information from that site and presented it here.

It has nothing to do with “guilt by association.” Obama isn’t guilty of anything for being connected to this people. What he is guilty of is lying. Apparently even Obama knows his judgement when choosing friends and associations is lacking.

If Obama would be open and honest about his relationships with these people there wouldn’t be so much doubt. Instead he wants to dismiss the relationships as non-existent or claim the person changed from when he knew them.

If McCain was associated with half the shadey characters that Obama is, we would never hear the end of it. With Obama, we haven’t even heard the beginning of it.

And now people have a week to lock in their vote. That’s not a lot of time to get to know somebody.

William Ayers

* Former member of the Weathermen - a domestic terrorist organization during Vietnam that bombed military recruiting centers
* Has no regrets and wishes he bombed more
* Gathered money with the help of Obama and filtered it to a professor at NYU (i think?) that was the head of the Press Office for the Palestinian government from the early 70’s to early 80’s and suspected ties to PLO.
* Sat on the Woods Fund board.
* Obama attended a party at Ayers house when first starting in politics.

Chicago Annenberg Challenge

In 1995, the Chicago Annenberg Challenge was created to raise funds to help reform the Chicago public schools. One of the architects of the Challenge was none other than Professor Bill Ayers. Ayers co-wrote the initial grant proposal and proudly lists himself on his own website as the co-founder of the Challenge.

And who did William Ayers, co-creator of the Challenge, help select as the new director of the board for this program? Barack Obama. Barack Obama was the first Chairman of the Board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. This appointment came at a crucial time in Barack’s life. He was on the verge of challenging longtime state Senator Alice Palmer for her job. When Barack decided to run, it is no surprise that he turned to William Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn for help in organizing the campaign and in hosting his first fundraiser in the district.

Obama served on the board for eight years until the Challenge ended in 2003. Bill Ayers was intimately involved in the Challenge over this same time period.

Rashid Khalidi

* Made campaign promise to institute Sharia law in muslim territories
* Recieved campaign financing from Khadafi
* Obama campaigned on his behalf to such an extent that Kenya made a formal complaint to State Dept.
* Attempted a coup after he lost the election
* Marxist educated in Soviet Union
* Rabidly anti-Israel

Abongo (Roy) Obama

* Brother of Barack Obama
* Former Christian, radical muslim convert
* Supporter of Odinga (the cousin) and wants to institute Sharia law
* Marxist
* Wants Barack to convert “back” to Islam and to throw off his western beliefs and find his African roots
* Rabidly anti-Israel

Louis Farrahkan

Louis Farrakhan (born Louis Eugene Walcott, May 11, 1933), is the acting head of the Nation of Islam (NOI) as the National Representative of Elijah Muhammad. He is also well-known as an advocate for African American interests and a critic of American society. Farrakhan currently resides in Kenwood, an affluent neighborhood on the south side of Chicago, and part time at a Nation of Islam farm in New Buffalo, Michigan.

Farrakhan has been the center of much controversy, and critics contend that some of his views and comments have been racist, homophobic, and antisemitic. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. was the Senior Pastor of the Trinity United Church of Christ (TUCC), a mega church in Chicago with around 10,000 members. In early 2008, Wright retired after 36 years as the Pastor of his congregation.
